In 2001 Annette Meyer was asked to make the
opening event for the launching of the next issue of the Japanese
design and Architecture magazine EAT issue no. 7 about packaging.
The three floor building of the Fashion company 'Tomorrowland'
got transformed into one big projection screen. The audience
was asked to show up in white clothing in order to be able
to play within the different projections, becoming a tin toy
robot or a huge strawberry.
When the desire for relaxing time was there, three white circled
chairs waited for you to chill-out and at the same time experiencing
the projection of an immense carrot or smoked salmon laying
on your lab.
The space was filled with music, composed by the Japanese
DJ and music composer Toru Yamanaka, who at the day of the
event played live to accompany the playful happy audience.
