Fashion design students from around the world are invited
to participate in
H. C. A .- International Fashion Design Competition 2005.
This years theme: Paper cuts by H. C. Andersen.
Inspired by the famous Danish fairy tale writer H. C. Andersen,
the students are asked to design one out-fit and give their
personal vision on the paper cuts. There will be focused on
the ability to transform this years theme into a strong personal
vision as well on the originality and creative, innovative
qualities in the designs.
The designs of 16 students will be selected for the final
competition, fashion show, exhibition and auction. Presented
at a professional fashion show and exhibition the students
will get the unique opportunity to show their creative talent
and meet an international audience and well known fashion
designers from different parts of the world.
The selected students will be invited to Denmark to work in
the ateliers of Beklædningsfagskolen in Odense in individual
workshops, creating and realizing the actual selected designs.
During the fashion show a panel of judges of three international
acknowledged fashion designers will select the two winners
of this years H. C. A. - International Fashion Design Competition.
After the show the 16 out-fits will be sold at an auction
where the international audience will get the opportunity
to bid on one or more of the 16 creations. Finally the out-fits
will be exhibited in one of the beautiful exhibition halls
of Odense, Denmark.
