A difference was no longer made between room and stage; they were one and the same. Gone was the "worn" and traditional podium with surrounding rows and chairs. Instead, people sat on benches in little islands around the room. This created corridors for the "catwalk".

Large partitions were set up at the end of the room that served as bulletin boards and "monitors", which continually displayed a succession of lovely pictures, showing micro details of the clothing collections designed and made by the students, that created atmosphere and perspective for the show. The arrangement of the partitions created entrances and exits.

The form of the show, followed the department's course of study, beginning with the first year, followed by the next ones, ending with the graduation. This structure gave an exceptionally good flow, with great range, from expression that were extremely experimental and difficult in a functional sense to constructivist or deconstructivis expressions that were better suited to and determined by the body.
